Higher mortgage rates are not stopping Reynoldsburg deals
Rates crossed 7% again. That is real, and it raises monthly payments. But the Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 211 homes sold in ZIP 43068 in the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is up 15.9% from the same months in 2025. Serious buyers are still moving.
CNBC reported the average 30-year fixed rate hit 7.49% as of October 7, 2026. Redfin's economists put rates above 7% as well. Higher payments slow some buyers. They have not stopped Reynoldsburg's market.
Buyers are still going under contract
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 210 pending sales in ZIP 43068 for the same period. That is up 6.6% from a year ago. Half of all homes, exactly 50.5%, went under contract within two weeks of listing. That share rose 3.8 points from last year, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator.
Prices dipped a little, and that matters for sellers
The Real Estate Data Aggregator put the median sale price in ZIP 43068 at $296,000 for the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is down 6% from the same months in 2025. Prices softened. That is worth knowing before you pick a list price.
Nationally, Realtor.com reported price cuts hit 20.8% of listings in September, the highest since October 2022. The Real Estate Data Aggregator shows Reynoldsburg sellers are not immune. Still, homes here sold at 99.9% of list price on average, up 0.4 points from last year.
That 99.9% figure tells you something. Homes priced right are still selling close to full ask. The Real Estate Data Aggregator also found that 32.2% of homes sold above list price, up 1.4 points from a year ago. Not every home sold fast, but a fair price still gets results.
Supply is lean, and that keeps buyers competing
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 145 homes for sale in ZIP 43068 during this period. That is down 1.4% from a year ago. Months of supply came in at 2.1 months, down 0.4 months from last year. Nationally, Realtor.com reported active listings grew 5.5% year-over-year, topping 1.16 million homes. Reynoldsburg is tighter than that national picture.
New listings rose too. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 210 new listings in ZIP 43068, up 6.1% from a year ago. More homes are coming to market. Buyers have a little more to look at, but supply is still thin.
